QB allows you to reconcile both credit card statements and b ank checking accounts. It doesn't matter whether you sell only services, or do custom manufacturing, or whether or not you handle inventory. It is highly flexible to be used in all kinds of business. I became an expert through consulting for small businesses that were using this software. QuickBooks can be self taught and has an excellent public users group that is very helpful for your specific questions.
In my consulting business, this was by far the most commonly used accounting software.
